The Farmhouse
Little Langford Farmhouse is a grand and elegant example of Victorian Gothic architecture with crenellations, lancet windows and a turreted entrance hall. It is a working tenanted dairy and arable farm owned by the Earl of Pembroke and situated 7 miles from Salisbury in the beautiful Wiltshire downs. It stands in its own grounds with a large pleasant garden in which guests are invited to relax. The Victorian theme is continued in the decor with damask curtains and fine period furniture.

Our sitting room
The comfortable sitting room has books, magazines, games and a baby grand piano. A log fire will welcome you and keep you cosy on chilly evenings.
We serve a full farmhouse breakfast with a choice of organic yogurts, fruit, cereals, homemade marmalade and honey from the farm. The cooked breakfast includes delicious Wiltshire bacon as well as eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes.

The farm is 568 hectares and is in the renowned Wylye Valley. We have a herd of 200 pedigree Holstein Friesian cows plus young stock and we grow wheat, barley and maize. We offer you the freedom of our farm where you can enjoy watching the cows being milked, the calves fed or seasonal activities on the farm.

Some of the land is in an Environmentally Sensitive Area and is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of the wild flowers and butterflies. The views from the chalk downs are breathtaking. Our meadows border the lakes owned by Wiltshire Wildlife and offer a wonderful opportunity for bird watching. Guests are welcome to walk and can be given a map with suggested routes.
